Schedule: Monday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM | Thursday to Saturday: 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM

Citadel Security USA is seeking a professional Armed Security Officer to support security operations in Glenwood Springs. This position is responsible for helping maintain a safe environment for visitors, staff, and our clients property.
The role includes conducting routine patrols throughout the property, monitoring indoor and outdoor activity, and responding to security-related concerns in a professional manner.

Primary Duties

Facility Security & Patrol

• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols throughout the property campus
• Inspect entrances, parking areas, walkways, and restricted locations
• Monitor property conditions and identify potential security or safety concerns

Public Interaction & Incident Response

• Interact professionally with visitors, contractors, and staff
• Respond to disturbances, suspicious activity, or policy violations according to site procedures
• Support personnel during security-related incidents

Observation & Reporting

• Remain alert to unusual behavior, safety hazards, or operational concerns
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately
• Prepare detailed reports in accordance with company and client requirements
• Communicate important information to supervisors and designated property personnel

Safety & Professional Standards

• Follow all post orders, property policies, and company procedures
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct while on duty
• Safely carry authorized security equipment in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
• Exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive or high-stress situations

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be legally eligible to possess and carry a firearm in the state of Colorado while performing assigned job duties
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during difficult interactions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
