Citadel Security USA is hiring a dependable Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to provide overnight security services at a commercial facility in Owensboro, KY. This position combines security monitoring with customer service responsibilities and is ideal for individuals who are attentive, professional, and comfortable working independently during overnight weekend shifts.
The successful candidate will monitor surveillance systems, answer incoming calls, assist with routine client requests, and help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.

Key Responsibilities

Security Monitoring

• Monitor CCTV cameras to observe facility activity and identify potential security concerns.
• Watch for unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, or unusual activity.
• Report safety hazards, security issues, or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain awareness of activity throughout the property during the assigned shift.

Client Support

• Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide assistance to client personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors as appropriate.
• Respond to routine questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate contact.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence.

Facility Oversight

• Perform routine observations of designated areas to help maintain a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas as directed by site procedures.
• Follow established security protocols and post instructions throughout the shift.
• Assist with basic access control procedures when required.

Documentation & Communication

• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Record security observations and noteworthy events in a timely manner.
• Communicate important updates, incidents, or emergencies to supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding client operations and facility information.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional customer service skills.
• Ability to remain attentive while monitoring surveillance systems.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer and telephone proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, customer service, reception, dispatch, or a related field.
• Experience monitoring CCTV or other surveillance systems.
• Familiarity with report writing and incident documentation.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in changing situations.

Work Environment

• Commercial office or industrial facility.
