Position Summary
Citadel Security USA is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer to provide coverage at multiple commercial properties throughout the Eagle County area. This position is designed to assist with staffing support for open shifts, vacation coverage, and operational scheduling needs.
Assignments may change depending on site requirements, making flexibility and professionalism essential for success in this role. Candidates should be comfortable adapting to different environments while maintaining a strong security presence and following site-specific procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide armed security coverage at various commercial properties as assigned
• Assist with staffing coverage for call-offs, schedule changes, and vacation relief
• Maintain a professional and visible presence while on duty
• Monitor buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding property
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
• Respond appropriately to incidents following site procedures and company guidelines
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, dispatches, and client representatives
• Follow all post orders, safety standards, and operational instructions

Minimum Qualifications

• Must meet Colorado requirements for armed security personnel
• Personal firearm required and must be carried out in compliance with state law and company policy
• Reliable vehicle required for travel between assignments
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs
• Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills
• Reliable attendance and professional demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Current armed certifications or related licensing
• Previous experience in armed patrol, commercial security, or multi-site assignments
• Ability to transition smoothly between different posts and work environments

Training Requirement

• Must attend a mandatory 3-day training course in the Grand Junction area
• Lodging will be provided during the training period

Work Environment

• Assignments located across multiple commercial properties in the region
• Combination of indoor and outdoor duties depending on site placement
• Position may involve standing, walking, and driving between locations
• Schedule and responsibilities may vary depending on staffing and client needs
