Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer for a critical infrastructure location in Nederland, Colorado. This position centers around monitoring site entry points, assisting with vehicle access, and helping maintain organized operations throughout overnight shifts.
The officer assigned to this site should be dependable, observant, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining professional communication with staff, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at designated entry points
• Assist with directing traffic flow in and around the facility
• Verify visitor, contractor, and vendor access according to site procedures
• Support gate operations and maintain communication with on-site personnel
• Monitor surrounding areas for suspicious activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized access
• Respond appropriately to incidents, alarms, or operational concerns
• Maintain a professional presence during overnight operations
• Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and related documentation
• Follow all client instructions, company policies, and post procedures
• Communicate important updates with supervisors and site contacts as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Ability to operate a vehicle safely during adverse weather or road conditions
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight assignments
• Reliable attendance and punctual work habits
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in security, gate operations, or access control
• Background working in outdoor environments or safety-sensitive positions
• Familiarity with incident documentation and report writing
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures
