Citadel Security USA is seeking a professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officer to support a behavioral health facility in Eagle County, Colorado. This position focuses on maintaining a safe and controlled environment through exterior patrols, observation, and professional interaction with staff and patients.

This role is best suited for officers who remain calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and can handle challenging situations with professionalism and good judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine exterior patrols of the facility and surrounding grounds
• Maintain a visible security presence to promote safety and order
• Monitor activity and report safety concerns or policy violations
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and patients
• Assist with de-escalation and safety support during heightened situations, following site protocols
• Respond to incidents in a calm, controlled, and professional manner
• Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports
• Communicate effectively with site leadership and dispatch

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to pass background and drug screening in accordance with applicable Colorado state and local laws
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress environments
• Prior security or behavioral health experience preferred, but not required
