Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for a hospitality property in Avon. This daytime position involves maintaining a safe and welcoming environment while assisting guests, monitoring property activity, and responding to security-related concerns as needed.
This assignment is a good fit for someone who communicates well with the public, stays observant throughout the shift, and can remain professional in a fast-moving environment.

Daily Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols throughout the property, including common areas, hallways, parking lots, and designated restricted areas
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and on-site activity for unusual behavior or safety concerns
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, or policy violations following site procedures
• Assist guests, visitors, and staff with directions or general property-related questions
• Maintain a professional and visible presence to help discourage theft, trespassing, or disruptive activity
• Verify access for vendors, visitors, and authorized personnel when necessary
• Track keys, badges, or other access control items as assigned
• Communicate concerns or hazards to site management or supervisors promptly
• Complete daily activity logs and detailed incident reports accurately and on time

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stay calm and professional during stressful or unexpected situations
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in hospitality security, hotel environments, or customer-facing security positions
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and access control procedures
• Experience handling conflict resolution or guest-related concerns professionally

Work Environment

• Hospitality-focused setting with regular interaction with guests and visitors
• Combination of indoor and outdoor patrol duties
• Position may require extended standing and walking throughout the shift
