Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Armed Security Officer for a commercial property in Dillon. This position provides daytime coverage during standard weekday hours and focuses on maintaining a secure and professional environment throughout the property.
The officer assigned to this location will perform routine patrols, monitor daily activity, and assist with handling security-related concerns as they arise. This role requires someone dependable, observant, and comfortable interacting with tenants, visitors, and property staff throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled patrols throughout interior and exterior areas of the property
• Maintain a professional and visible armed presence during assigned hours
• Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations
• Respond appropriately to incidents, disturbances, or security-related situations
• Interact professionally with tenants, contractors, employees, and visitors
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations in written reports
• Follow all post instructions, company procedures, and site-specific guidelines
• Communicate important updates or concerns to supervisors and management
• Help maintain an orderly and secure environment across the property

Minimum Qualifications

• Personal firearm required and must be carried in accordance with state laws and company policy
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Ability to travel to Grand Junction, CO for onboarding and initial training
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
• Basic written communication and report-writing ability
• Ability to remain alert and professional throughout the workday
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in armed security or protective services
• Background working at commercial, office, or customer-facing properties
• Familiarity with patrol procedures and incident documentation
• Experience interacting with the public in a professional setting

Work Environment

• Commercial property with both indoor and outdoor patrol responsibilities
• Consistent weekday daytime schedule
• Regular interaction with tenants, staff, and visitors
• Standing, walking, and routine patrol activity required throughout the shift
• Fast response and sound judgment expected during incidents or emergencies
