Position Summary:
Citadel Security USA is hiring event officers to support concerts, festivals, sporting events, and other large gatherings across Western Colorado. This role involves working directly in active event environments, helping keep things organized while maintaining a safe space for guests and staff.
Each event can look a little different, so being able to adjust quickly and work well with others is important.

Coverage area includes:

• Grand Junction
• Rifle
• Glenwood Springs
• Eagle
• Aspen
• Vail
• Montrose
• Ouray
• Telluride

Traveling to different locations is part of the role and depends on event scheduling.

Schedule details:

• Most shifts take place during evenings and weekends
• Hours vary depending on event needs
• Larger events may require advance scheduling commitment

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible presence throughout event venues
• Assist with entry procedures, including bag checks or ID verification when required
• Support alcohol compliance and help enforce venue rules
• Help manage crowd flow and movement during events
• Interact with guests, staff, and vendors in a professional manner
• Watch for safety concerns or unusual behavior and respond appropriately
• Follow all assigned procedures and company guidelines

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability and willingness to travel across Western Colorado
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach
• Ability to stay attentive in busy, high-traffic environments
• Professional appearance and conduct while on duty
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Experience

• Previous event security, crowd control, or related experience
• Background in hospitality or large-scale events
• Strong awareness and ability to stay calm under pressure

Work Environment:

• Event-based assignments at concerts, festivals, and sporting venues
• Extended periods of standing and walking
• Outdoor conditions and large crowds depending on the event
