Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for daytime coverage in Avon. This role blends traditional security duties with guest interaction, making it a good fit for someone who is both attentive and approachable.
The position involves staying active throughout the shift—moving through the property, keeping an eye on activity, and stepping in when needed. It’s a mix of awareness, communication, and day-to-day problem solving in a setting where service matters just as much as safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol common areas such as lobbies, corridors, parking zones, and restricted sections
• Monitor camera systems and alarms to stay aware of site activity
• Respond to incidents including alarms, disturbances, or medical situations
• Enforce property guidelines and follow established safety procedures
• Assist guests with directions, questions, or general support when needed
• Maintain a visible and approachable presence across the property
• Address complaints or conflicts and work to de-escalate situations
• Observe entry points and confirm access for staff, vendors, and visitors
• Manage distribution and tracking of keys or access credentials
• Write clear reports for incidents, accidents, or unusual observations
• Keep daily logs updated and report any hazards or concerns

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Ability to stay composed and professional in challenging situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, hotel security, or similar environments
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and access control processes
• Ability to handle conflicts calmly and effectively

Work Environment

• Hotel or resort setting with regular interaction with guests
• Combination of indoor duties and outdoor patrols
• Requires standing, walking, and staying alert throughout the shift
