Pay: $70,000 annually + up to 20% performance-based bonus (based on KPIs and growth)


Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is hiring a District Manager to oversee operations across several client sites in the Fort Collins area. The position focuses on coordinating teams in the field, maintaining service consistency, and ensuring all locations operate in line with company expectations and regulatory guidelines.

This role suits someone who can stay engaged with daily operations while also handling planning, reporting, and communication with both internal teams and external clients.


Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily security operations across multiple locations within the district
  • Ensure all sites meet company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Develop and maintain post orders, emergency procedures, and security protocols

Personnel Management

  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise supervisors and security officers
  • Create and manage schedules to ensure proper staffing and cost efficiency
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching or corrective action when needed
  • Foster a professional, accountable, and safety-focused work culture

Client Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Address concerns, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner
  • Participate in client meetings and provide operational updates
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and client satisfaction

Administrative & Reporting

  • Prepare and submit reports related to incidents, staffing, compliance, and budgets
  • Oversee payroll accuracy, timekeeping, and scheduling systems
  • Monitor labor costs and manage budgets within the assigned district
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure all personnel meet licensing, certification, and training requirements
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and policy violations
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when needed
  • Enforce safety standards and loss prevention practices

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in security operations or management
  • Experience managing multiple sites or teams
  • Strong knowledge of security procedures, risk management, and emergency response
  • Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in contract security or large-scale operations
  • Security-related certifications (CPP, PSP, CC, ACT, Baton, Armed, or similar)
  • Experience with scheduling, reporting, and operational software systems

Work Environment

  • Combination of office-based responsibilities and time spent in the field
  • Regular travel between client sites within the district
  • Fast-moving environment requiring prioritization and sound decision-making

  • This role includes a performance-based bonus structure (up to 20%) tied to KPIs and operational growth
