Position Overview
Citadel Security USA has an overnight armed position open in Dillon. This is a full-time role working late hours where things can be pretty quiet, but that is usually when paying attention matters most. You will be working on your own most of the time, so being able to stay focused without someone checking in on you is important.

The job is straightforward. You are mainly keeping track of vehicle traffic and making sure only the right people are coming through. Some nights will feel slow, others will not. Either way, you are expected to stay aware of what is going on and handle situations as they come up without overthinking it.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Watching vehicles as they come in and out, and making a call on who is allowed through
• Turning away anyone who should not be on site and writing down what happened in plain, clear terms
• Staying visible during the shift and not checking out just because things are quiet
• Putting together basic incident notes and daily reports without leaving out details
• Following the site’s post orders the way they are written (no shortcuts)
• Dealing with situations as they come up and keeping a level head while doing it
   

Required Qualifications

• Around 2 years of armed security experience or more
• Being able to legally carry and stay within all required laws and regulations
• Paying attention to small things and not rushing through reports
• Being comfortable working overnight and staying alert for long stretches
