Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Unarmed Patient Transport Security Officer for part-time overnight assignments based in Grand Junction. This position involves transporting patients safely between designated locations throughout Colorado while maintaining a calm, secure, and professional environment during each trip.

The ideal candidate is a responsible driver who remains attentive during extended travel, communicates respectfully, and understands the importance of following established safety and transportation procedures. Training will be provided.
 

Transportation & Safety Duties

• Safely transport patients between designated facilities and medical care locations throughout Colorado.
• Operate assigned vehicles responsibly and follow all applicable traffic laws and company driving procedures.
• Maintain a secure and orderly environment during transportation assignments.
• Assist with safe movement to and from the vehicle when required by the assignment.
• Remain attentive to changing conditions throughout each trip.
• Communicate relevant concerns to supervisors or designated personnel.
• Follow established transportation procedures and assignment-specific instructions.
• Report accidents, unusual circumstances, safety concerns, or other incidents promptly.
• Complete required activity, transportation, or incident documentation accurately.
• Maintain professional conduct and protect confidential information encountered during assignments.
   

Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Demonstrated ability to operate a vehicle safely for extended periods.
• Ability to travel throughout Colorado as assigned.
• Dependable driving habits and sound judgment are essential.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently during overnight assignments.
• Comfortable working a schedule with varying days of the week.
   

Training

• Previous experience in patient transportation security is not required.
• Training will be provided to qualified applicants.
• New employees will receive instruction regarding applicable job procedures, safety expectations, and assignment requirements.
