Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring an Armed Security Officer for Gov building / Courthouse in Eagle, Colorado. This role focuses on maintaining a secure, orderly environment during daytime operations while interacting with staff, officials, and the public.
The position is structured and procedure-driven, requiring professionalism, awareness, and consistent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a visible armed presence throughout the facility and surrounding areas
• Monitor entry points and control access to restricted sections
• Verify identification and credentials for staff and authorized visitors
• Observe daily activity and watch for potential security concerns
• Respond to incidents or disturbances following established procedures
• Assist visitors with directions or general questions when needed
• Complete daily activity logs and detailed incident reports
• Follow all post orders, courthouse protocols, and company guidelines

Minimum Qualifications
• Must meet Colorado requirements for armed security personnel
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to pass background screening in line with state regulations
• Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a consistent weekday schedule
• Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail

Preferred Experience
• Previous experience in armed security roles
• Background in government buildings, courthouses, or similar settings

Training & Support
• Site-specific training provided prior to assignment
• Clear post orders and defined expectations
