Position Details

Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 annually (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview
The SOC Manager is responsible for overseeing daily SOC operations, ensuring high performance, accountability, and service quality. This role leads SOC personnel, manages incidents, and serves as a central communication hub.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
· Oversee daily SOC operations and performance
· Manage scheduling, staffing coverage, and accountability
· Fill coverage gaps including PTO and call-offs
· Train, mentor, and develop SOC operators
· Promote a culture of professionalism and service
Monitoring & Response
· Oversee real-time monitoring of client systems
· Ensure proper escalation and response protocols
· Coordinate with patrol and management during incidents
· Maintain situational awareness across sites
Client & Communication
· Act as escalation point for client and internal communication
· Ensure accurate and timely reporting
· Address client concerns professionally
Technology & Systems
· Audit and maintain SOC technology platforms
· Support AI monitoring system optimization
· Ensure effective system usage
Reporting & Compliance
· Review reports, logs, and documentation
· Ensure shift handoff continuity
· Maintain SOP and policy compliance
Qualifications
· 1+ year SOC or equivalent experience
· 2+ years in security, operations, or customer service
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Ability to work in high-pressure environments
· High School Diploma or GED required
