Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is bringing on event security personnel to support operations at concerts, festivals, sporting events, and other high-attendance gatherings across Western Colorado. The primary focus of this role is to help maintain an organized and secure environment while contributing to a positive guest experience.

In this position, officers are expected to stay visible, assist with general safety needs, and work alongside event staff to manage crowds during peak activity. This is a strong fit for individuals who are dependable, communicate clearly, and can stay composed in busy, fast-paced settings.

Coverage Area
Events may occur across several communities in Western Colorado, including:

• Grand Junction, Colorado
• Rifle, Colorado
• Glenwood Springs, Colorado
• Eagle, Colorado
• Aspen, Colorado
• Vail, Colorado
• Montrose, Colorado
• Ouray, Colorado
• Telluride, Colorado

Officers should be willing to travel to event locations when scheduled.

Schedule
Citadel Security USA is seeking candidates with availability primarily during evenings and weekends.
Schedules are flexible, allowing officers to submit availability based on their preferences. Certain large-scale events may require advance scheduling commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a professional security presence at event venues
• Conduct bag checks and verify identification when required
• Assist with alcohol compliance and venue policy enforcement
• Support crowd management efforts to help maintain safe event conditions
• Offer courteous customer service to guests, staff, and event organizers
• Observe event areas for safety issues or suspicious activity
• Follow event procedures along with company security guidelines

Position Requirements

• Ability to travel to event locations throughout Western Colorado
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills
• Ability to work in busy and fast-moving event settings
• Professional appearance and conduct while on duty
• Must successfully pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with event security or crowd control
• Work history at concerts, festivals, or hospitality venues
• Strong situational awareness and the ability to remain composed in large crowds

Work Environment

• Event venues such as concerts, festivals, sporting events, and public gatherings
• May involve extended standing, walking, and outdoor assignments
• Fast-moving environments with large crowds and changing conditions
