Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for an overnight assignment in Owensboro. This position is primarily responsible for monitoring site activity, observing employee access points, and assisting with general front-desk style security functions during overnight hours.
This role is ideal for someone who is attentive, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a quiet overnight environment while maintaining professionalism and awareness throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems for unusual activity or security concerns
• Observe employee entrances and exits to help maintain controlled site access
• Answer incoming calls and direct information to the appropriate contacts when needed
• Maintain awareness of site activity throughout the assigned shift
• Report suspicious behavior, safety concerns, or unusual incidents promptly
• Complete activity logs and incident documentation accurately
• Support site procedures and follow assigned post instructions
• Maintain a professional and courteous presence while interacting with employees or visitors
• Assist with overnight monitoring duties and general site oversight

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to remain alert and focused during overnight shifts
• Dependable attendance and professional conduct required
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer and phone communication skills preferred

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in security, monitoring, or customer service environments
• Familiarity with CCTV systems or access monitoring procedures
• Experience handling overnight or low-traffic assignments
• Ability to document incidents and daily activity clearly
