Citadel Security USA is currently filling a full-time overnight security position at a construction project in Perry, Iowa. The assignment focuses on maintaining a visible presence on site, performing regular patrols, and helping safeguard equipment, materials, and contractor property.

Officers assigned to this location work overnight shifts and conduct routine patrol rounds to help ensure the site remains secure after normal working hours.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols throughout the construction property during assigned hours
• Complete hourly patrol rounds and scan designated checkpoints
• Watch for unusual activity, trespassing, or other security concerns
• Maintain awareness of equipment, materials, and contractor property on site
• Report hazards, safety issues, or suspicious activity as they are observed
• Record incidents and daily activity in written or digital logs
• Carry out additional instructions provided by the client or Citadel Security supervisors
   

Basic Qualification

• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable personal vehicle for transportation
• Ability to work overnight hours and follow the rotating schedule
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently for long periods
   

Preferred Qualification

• Prior security, patrol, or guard experience
• Work at construction projects or industrial locations
• Familiarity with report writing or incident documentation
   

Work setting

• Active construction site environment
• Patrol duties may include walking and extended standing
• Outdoor conditions and changing weather are possible
• Overnight shifts with periodic patrol responsibilities across the site
