Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to assist with overnight security operations in the Fort Collins area. Officers assigned to this role patrol several client locations during the shift, helping maintain safety and site security after regular business hours.

The position combines vehicle patrol with periodic foot checks of assigned properties. Officers are expected to remain attentive while on duty, respond appropriately to security concerns, and record patrol activity through clear documentation. This role requires reliability, situational awareness, and the ability to work independently while following established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate company patrol vehicles safely while traveling between assigned locations
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of client properties
• Maintain a visible presence to discourage unauthorized activity
• Respond to security concerns, alarms, or incidents as directed
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or safety concerns
• Complete clear and accurate security and incident reports
• Utilize company software and mobile applications to document patrol activity
• Follow company policies, site procedures, and post orders at all times

Position Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to safely operate company patrol vehicles
• Availability to work overnight hours and patrol multiple sites
• Strong observation skills and effective communication ability
• Comfortable working independently with limited supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior mobile patrol or security experience
• Familiarity with digital reporting systems or security software
• Experience performing both vehicle and foot patrol duties

Work Environment

• Patrol-based assignment covering multiple properties
• Combination of driving, walking patrols, and stationary observation
• Work may include outdoor activity and changing weather conditions
