Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is seeking a Full-Time Field Training Officer to support officer development and site performance across multiple locations in the Fort Collins area. This role focuses on hands-on instruction, field coaching, and helping officers understand site expectations, company procedures, and day-to-day operational responsibilities.
This position requires travel between assigned properties and regular interaction with officers, supervisors, and management. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and confident providing guidance in active field environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Train newly hired and current security officers on assigned duties and operational expectations
• Review post orders, site procedures, and company standards during live field assignments
• Visit designated locations to observe officer performance and overall site conditions
• Provide direct coaching, constructive feedback, and practical instruction as needed
• Identify performance gaps or areas requiring additional training and follow-up
• Assist with onboarding, field orientation, and officer readiness processes
• Communicate progress updates, concerns, and recommendations to supervisors and leadership
• Support consistency in reporting, patrol procedures, and site compliance standards
• Maintain professional communication with site contacts and internal teams
• Document training activity, field observations, and performance-related notes accurately

Position Requirements

• Active Guard Card required
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
• Personal firearm required in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
• Reliable personal vehicle for travel between assigned locations
• Ability to work flexible and overnight schedules as operational needs require
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous security experience required
• Ability to lead by example and maintain professionalism in the field

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a training, lead, supervisory, or mentoring role
• Armed certification or previous armed security experience
• Familiarity with report writing, patrol operations, and site procedures
• Experience working across multiple locations or assignments
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Work Environment

• Frequent travel between client sites and operational locations
