Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Security Officer for overnight coverage in Denver. This position focuses on routine vehicle and foot patrols, responding to service calls, checking assigned properties, and documenting conditions throughout each shift.

The officer will travel between assigned locations and may respond when clients report concerns or request assistance. Strong driving habits, dependable attendance, good judgment, and clear documentation are important for this role.
 

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Patrol & Property Checks

• Conduct scheduled vehicle and foot patrols at assigned properties.
• Check residential areas, homes, construction locations, commercial properties, and parking areas as directed.
• Inspect entrances, exterior areas, gates, walkways, and other designated locations.
• Look for unauthorized activity, property damage, safety hazards, or unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence while completing assigned patrol rounds.
• Follow established patrol routes, post orders, and client instructions.
   

Calls for Service

• Respond to client requests and calls for service during assigned shifts.
• Investigate reported concerns within the scope of assigned security duties.
• Communicate professionally with residents, customers, visitors, and other involved individuals.
• Use calm verbal communication when addressing complaints, disturbances, or other concerns.
• Contact supervisors or emergency services when a situation requires additional assistance.
   

Reporting & Documentation

• Document patrol activity and property conditions accurately throughout each shift.
• Complete detailed incident reports for security concerns, calls for service, and unusual activity.
• Record the time and nature of responses, observations, and actions taken.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with supervisors and designated client representatives.
   

Professional Conduct

• Follow company policies, post orders, and property-specific procedures.
• Protect confidential information encountered while performing assigned duties.
• Maintain a professional appearance and respectful attitude during all interactions.
• Exercise sound judgment when determining when to notify supervisors, clients, or emergency responders.
• Complete assigned duties consistently with limited direct supervision.
   

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Active driver's license must remain in good standing.
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle while traveling between assigned properties.
• Ability to work the scheduled Wednesday–Saturday overnight shift.
• Strong observation and situational-awareness skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple patrol assignments.
• Ability to remain professional when responding to complaints or unexpected situations.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security or mobile patrol experience.
• Experience responding to calls for service or property-related complaints.
• Familiarity with residential property patrols and access-control procedures.
• Experience preparing daily activity and incident reports.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Comfortable using mobile applications or electronic reporting systems.
