Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is looking to add a Full-Time SOC Operator to its overnight team in Fort Collins. This role focuses on monitoring multiple client sites through live video feeds, tracking activity as it happens, and making sure any issues are handled quickly and properly.
It’s a position for someone who can stay focused for long stretches, switch between tasks without losing detail, and communicate clearly when situations need attention. Much of the work happens behind the scenes, but it plays a key part in overall site safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Watch camera systems in real time to spot unusual activity or potential concerns
• Take action when needed, including notifying patrol units or contacting emergency services
• Complete scheduled virtual patrols and camera checks as assigned
• Log incidents, escalations, and dispatch actions with accurate written reports
• Flag compliance concerns, including missed check-ins or policy issues
• Review guard reports and activity logs for completeness and accuracy
• Pull and share video footage when requested by clients or authorities
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls related to site activity or incidents
• Stay in contact with supervisors and management regarding ongoing situations
• Support team members and assist with general SOC operations when needed
• Keep an eye on system performance and report technical issues promptly
• Escalate software or equipment problems to the appropriate support teams

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor several systems at once
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Ability to remain composed and professional in time-sensitive situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring, dispatch, or surveillance-based roles
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and reporting tools
• Previous work in a Security Operations Center or similar setting
