Position Summary
Citadel Security USA is hiring a Part-Time Armed Security Officer to assist with coverage at a critical infrastructure site in the Dillon area. This position is intended to support operations during staffing shortages, vacations, and schedule adjustments while helping maintain a secure and controlled environment.
The role combines access control duties with patrol responsibilities and requires someone who can quickly adapt to different assignments, follow site procedures closely, and maintain professionalism throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials and approving authorized entry
• Conduct vehicle patrols throughout the property to observe activity and site conditions
• Maintain a visible armed presence to support overall site security
• Watch for suspicious behavior, trespassing, safety concerns, or unauthorized access
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and service calls according to site procedures
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation
• Communicate updates clearly with supervisors, dispatch, and designated contacts
• Follow all post instructions, operational procedures, and company policies

Minimum Qualifications

• Must meet Colorado requirements for armed security personnel
• Personal firearm required and must be carried out in compliance with state law and company policy
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work flexible or on-call shifts based on operational needs
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and professional conduct

Preferred Qualifications

• Active armed certifications or related credentials
• Prior experience in armed patrol, access control, or infrastructure security
• Familiarity with high-security environments or critical site operations

Work Environment

• Combination of stationary access control and mobile patrol duties
• Indoor and outdoor work environments depending on assignment
• May involve prolonged standing, walking, or driving during shifts
• Schedule and responsibilities may vary based on staffing coverage needs
