Position Summary
Citadel Security USA is seeking an experienced District Manager to oversee security operations throughout the Tulsa market. This leadership position is responsible for managing daily operations, strengthening client partnerships, supporting business growth, and ensuring each assigned account consistently meets company and client expectations.
The District Manager provides leadership to supervisors and security personnel while maintaining accountability for operational performance, employee development, financial results, compliance standards, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for an operations-focused leader who excels at managing multiple priorities while building strong teams and lasting client relationships.
Primary Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned clients throughout the district
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with client representatives
- Conduct regular site visits, business reviews, and operational meetings
- Resolve client concerns promptly while maintaining high service standards
- Ensure contractual obligations, post orders, and service expectations are consistently met
District Operations Leadership
- Direct daily operations across multiple client locations
- Provide leadership and guidance to Site Supervisors, Account Managers, and Security Officers
- Monitor staffing levels and adjust resources to meet operational requirements
- Ensure all assigned locations maintain consistent security coverage
- Support new account implementations and operational transitions
Financial & Performance Management
- Manage district budgets and overall operational performance
- Monitor labor costs, overtime, payroll accuracy, equipment usage, and operational expenses
- Review district performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Analyze operational trends and implement solutions that improve efficiency
- Authorize purchases and operational expenditures within company guidelines
- Maintain district vehicles, uniforms, and operational equipment to support business needs
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Conduct site inspections, operational audits, and quality assurance reviews
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable laws
- Monitor licensing, certifications, and employee qualification requirements
- Promote workplace safety and enforce established reporting procedures
- Implement corrective action plans when operational or compliance concerns are identified
Workforce Leadership & Development
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and retain quality security professionals
- Coach supervisors and field leadership to improve operational performance
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing employee development
- Coordinate required training, certifications, and continuing education
- Foster a professional, accountable, and positive workplace culture
Additional Responsibilities
- Support emergency response efforts and operational contingencies when required
- Assist with business development opportunities and client retention initiatives
- Utilize scheduling, reporting, and workforce management software to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic operational initiatives
- Perform additional management responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or degree in Business, Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive leadership experience in security operations, business management, or operations management
- Experience managing multi-site operations or contract-based services preferred
- Prior responsibility for budgets, workforce scheduling, and operational performance preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development abilities
- Experience managing district-level operations with accountability for service quality and financial performance
- Working knowledge of security operations, contract administration, post orders, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Experience managing labor costs, overtime, payroll processes, and district budgets
- Ability to analyze operational data and implement performance improvements
- Strong client relationship management and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workforce management platforms
- Experience using TrackTik or similar security management software is preferred
- Ability to exercise sound judgment while managing confidential personnel and operational information
- Relevant industry certifications are welcomed but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned district
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Operate computers, mobile devices, and standard office equipment
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds when necessary
- Respond to operational issues and emergencies outside of normal business hours when required
Work Environment
- Combination of office, client site, and field-based work
- Frequent interaction with employees, clients, vendors, and executive leadership
- Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and sound decision-making
- Regular travel between client locations within the assigned district
- Evening, weekend, holiday, and emergency response work may occasionally be required to support operational needs
