Schedule: Saturday to Sunday | 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Position Summary:
Citadel Security USA is hiring a part-time armed officer for overnight coverage at a residential community in Aurora. This role is focused on keeping the property quiet and secure during late hours while maintaining a respectful presence around residents.
You will be working independently for most of the shift, moving through the property and handling issues as they come up. Since this is a residential setting, how you communicate with people matters just as much as the security work itself.

Key Responsibilities:

• Walk the property, including buildings, parking areas, and common spaces
• Maintain a visible presence to help discourage unwanted activity
• Monitor entry points and address unauthorized access when needed
• Respond to calls such as noise complaints or disturbances
• Write clear daily reports and document any incidents
• Assist residents when needed while still enforcing community rules
• Follow all post orders and company procedures during the shift

Required Qualifications:

• Active Guard Card
• Personal firearm with the ability to carry in line with state laws and company policy
• Willingness to complete armed certification through Citadel Security USA
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach

Preferred Experience:

• At least 1 year of armed security experience
• Broader security background (2+ years preferred)
• Experience working in residential or customer-facing environments

Work Environment:

• Residential apartment setting with regular interaction with residents
• Mostly foot patrol with continuous movement
• Overnight weekend schedule
