Pay: $70,000 annually + up to 20% performance-based bonus (based on KPIs and growth)
Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring a District Manager to oversee several client locations in the Fort Collins area. This role involves staying connected to what’s happening on-site while also managing the bigger picture—staffing, performance, and client expectations.
The position is a mix of field involvement and administrative responsibility. You’ll spend time supporting teams in person, while also handling planning, reporting, and communication to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day activity across multiple sites within the assigned area
- Ensure each location is operating in line with company standards and client expectations
- Conduct routine site visits to review performance and identify potential risks
- Maintain and update post orders, emergency plans, and operational procedures
Personnel Management
- Hire, train, and supervise supervisors and security officers
- Build schedules that maintain coverage while keeping labor costs in check
- Provide feedback through evaluations, coaching, and corrective action when needed
- Promote a work environment focused on accountability, professionalism, and safety
Client Relations
- Act as the main contact for assigned clients
- Respond to concerns, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner
- Attend meetings and provide updates on site operations
- Identify ways to strengthen service quality and client satisfaction
Administrative & Reporting
- Prepare reports covering incidents, staffing, compliance, and budget tracking
- Review timekeeping, payroll accuracy, and scheduling processes
- Monitor expenses and help manage district-level budgets
- Keep records organized and up to date
Risk & Compliance
- Verify that all personnel meet licensing and training requirements
- Investigate incidents, complaints, or policy issues as they arise
- Coordinate with emergency services or law enforcement when necessary
- Reinforce safety practices and loss prevention standards
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in security operations or a management role
- Experience overseeing multiple sites or teams
- Working knowledge of security practices, risk management, and emergency response
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in contract security or large-scale operations
- Industry certifications such as CPP, PSP, or similar
- Experience with scheduling tools, reporting systems, or workforce platforms
Work Environment
- Combination of office work and time spent in the field
- Regular travel between sites within the assigned district
- Fast-paced setting requiring prioritization and sound decision-making
