Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring for a mobile patrol position covering multiple properties during the shift. You will spend a good portion of your time driving from site to site, so being comfortable on the road and staying focused over long stretches is important.

The job itself is not complicated, but it does rely on consistency. You are checking locations, making sure things look right, and noting anything that stands out. Some shifts move quickly, others are pretty routine it really just depends on the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive between assigned locations and complete scheduled patrols (plus any extra checks if needed)
• Walk or visually inspect parking areas, building exteriors, and entry points
• Watch for anything out of place, trespassing, safety issues, or damage
• Respond when something comes up, whether it is a call, alarm, or on-site situation
• Check in with supervisors or dispatch when updates are needed
• Write simple, clear reports for daily activity and any incidents
• Stay visible while on patrol as just being present helps deter issues
• Use the company vehicle responsibly and follow traffic laws

Minimum Qualifications​​​​​​​:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years
• At least 3 years of driving experience
• Comfortable being in a vehicle for most of the shift
• Able to communicate clearly, both written and verbal
• Shows up on time and handles responsibilities without reminders

Preferred Qualifications​​​​​​​:

• Previous security work, especially patrol or field-based roles
• Familiarity with writing reports or logging daily activity
• Experience working independently out in the field

Work Environment & Physical Requirements​​​​​​​:

• Most of the shift is spent driving, with some time outside of the vehicle
• Conditions can change depending on the property or weather
• Staying alert for long periods is part of the job
