Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for daytime coverage. This role focuses on supporting a safe, orderly, and guest-friendly environment by combining routine patrol activity, system monitoring, and direct interaction with guests and staff.

This assignment is well-suited for someone who is attentive, professional, and comfortable working in a customer-facing resort setting where service and security go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and restricted spaces
• Monitor surveillance systems including CCTV and alarm systems
• Respond to incidents such as fire alarms, medical situations, and disturbances
• Enforce property rules, safety procedures, and company policies
• Deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Provide assistance to guests with directions, questions, or concerns
• Maintain a visible, friendly presence to promote a safe environment
• Handle complaints and conflicts professionally and de-escalate when necessary
• Monitor entrances and exits and verify credentials for staff, vendors, and visitors
• Issue and track keys or access credentials as required
• Document incidents, accidents, or unusual activity in detailed reports
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and report hazards to management
   

Position Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable vehicle for transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel security
• Experience with CCTV monitoring and access control
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
   

Work Environment

• Hotel and resort setting with frequent guest interaction
• Combination of indoor and outdoor patrols
• Requires standing, walking, and maintaining awareness throughout the shift
