Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is bringing on a full-time Overnight Security Officer for properties in the Denver area. This role is hands-on and involves staying active throughout the shift, checking the property, and being available when residents or visitors need assistance.
You will not be sitting in one place for long. Most of the shift is spent walking the site, keeping an eye on things, and stepping in when something does not look right. Some nights are slow and routine, others can pick up without much notice, so being able to adjust is part of the job.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Move through the property at regular intervals, checking buildings, walkways, and common areas
• Pay attention to anything that seems off, whether it is a safety issue or someone who should not be there
• Assist residents or guests when questions come up or directions are needed
• Keep a noticeable presence around the property to help discourage problems before they start
• Step in and deal with situations as they happen, using good judgment
• Note important details from your shift, especially anything unusual
• Reach out to supervisors or site contacts when something needs to be passed along
   

Required Qualification

• Must be 18 or older
• High school diploma or GED is a plus
• Able to stay on your feet and move around for most of the shift
• Comfortable speaking with people and explaining things clearly
• Can put together simple, accurate reports without overcomplicating them
• Reliable with attendance and able to stick to the assigned schedule
   

Preferred Qualification

• Some prior security experience or something similar
• Experience dealing with customers, residents, or the general public
• Familiar with basic patrol routines or writing incident notes

• Overnight hours where staying focused matters, even when it is quiet
• Regular interaction with people on-site throughout the shift
