Role Overview

Citadel Security USA is looking for a responsible and attentive Unarmed Site Security Officer to support daily operations at an assigned location in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This position is suited to someone who takes instructions seriously, communicates clearly, and can remain focused while monitoring activity and helping maintain an orderly environment.

Officers will provide a visible security presence, assist with scheduled transport activities, observe conditions in assigned areas, and report concerns through the appropriate channels. Paid on-the-job training and assignment-specific guidance are provided.
 

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Monitor Assigned Areas: Maintain an attentive presence and observe activity for unusual behavior, unauthorized access, or potential safety issues.
• Assist With Transport Operations: Support scheduled movement and transport activities as directed, following established procedures and maintaining professional conduct.
• Help Manage Entry and Exit: Observe access points and assist individuals with authorized entry, departure, and movement through designated areas.
• Identify Potential Concerns: Watch for hazards, suspicious activity, or conditions that may require attention, and promptly notify the appropriate contact.
• Communicate With Dispatch: Share relevant updates with dispatch, supervisors, and authorized personnel when incidents or operational concerns arise.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Complete daily activity logs and incident reports with clear, factual information.
• Use Vehicles Responsibly: Operate a vehicle when assigned and follow company procedures, traffic laws, and applicable driving requirements.
• Follow Post Orders: Carry out assigned duties according to company policies, location-specific instructions, and established safety procedures.
• Respond Professionally: Remain calm during challenging situations, use sound judgment, and request assistance when a concern exceeds your authority or training.
• Support Shift Continuity: Communicate important observations and unresolved concerns to the appropriate team members during shift transitions.
   

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive longer distances when necessary.
• Ability to pass required background and drug screening.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled 12-hour shifts.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Clear verbal communication and basic written reporting abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions, maintain confidentiality, and work independently.
• Professional conduct when interacting with individuals, supervisors, and authorized contacts.
