Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Friday to Sunday | 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM


Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Unarmed Regional Patrol Security Officer to provide security coverage for multiple client locations throughout the Grand Valley. This position is responsible for conducting routine patrols, securing commercial properties, and helping protect client facilities during evening operations.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, making sound decisions in the field, and maintaining a professional presence while traveling between assigned locations.


Primary Responsibilities

Patrol & Property Security

  • Conduct scheduled patrols of assigned buildings and client properties throughout the Grand Valley.
  • Perform both vehicle and foot patrols to verify the security of each location.
  • Check exterior doors, gates, windows, parking areas, and perimeter fencing.
  • Lock and secure facilities as required by site procedures.
  • Help maintain a visible security presence to discourage unauthorized activity.

Incident Response

  • Respond appropriately to security concerns, alarms, or suspicious activity.
  • Investigate unusual conditions while following company policies and post instructions.
  • Observe and report vandalism, trespassing, property damage, or safety hazards.
  • Notify supervisors of incidents requiring additional assistance or follow-up.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Complete accurate patrol logs and daily activity reports.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports when necessary.
  • Record patrol findings using company reporting systems and mobile applications.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors throughout each shift.

Professional Conduct

  • Represent Citadel Security USA professionally at all assigned client locations.
  • Follow all client instructions, company policies, and post orders.
  • Exercise sound judgment while protecting confidential client information.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and dependable shift coverage.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background investigation.
  • Strong observation and situational awareness skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable work ethic and professional appearance.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in security, patrol services, property protection, or related fields.
  • Experience completing incident reports and activity documentation.
  • Familiarity with mobile reporting applications and electronic documentation systems.
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.


Work Environment

  • Multiple commercial properties are located throughout the Grand Valley.
  • Combination of vehicle patrols and routine foot inspections.
  • Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Evening schedule requiring continuous alertness and sound decision-making.
  • Frequent travel between assigned client locations during each shift.
