Citadel Security USA is currently recruiting a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to oversee weekend security coverage at a construction project located in Perry, Iowa. This assignment focuses on maintaining a controlled and secure job site during scheduled afternoon hours.

The officer will be responsible for performing routine patrols, monitoring access to the property, and documenting any unusual activity observed on site. The role requires someone who is dependable, attentive, and comfortable working independently while following established procedures for the location.
 

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled patrols throughout the JBS construction site
• Complete hourly patrol rounds and scan required checkpoints
• Monitor equipment, materials, and contractor areas for security concerns
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, safety issues, or unauthorized access
• Contact local law enforcement when necessary to address unlawful activity
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and prepare incident reports as required
• Follow site-specific instructions along with Citadel Security procedures
   

Qualifications

• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to remain attentive and focused during the entire shift
• Clear communication and basic report-writing ability
• Capable of working independently with limited supervision
   

Work Environment

• Construction project site environment
• Duties may involve walking patrols and standing for extended periods
• Outdoor conditions and changing weather may be encountered
• Ongoing monitoring of the property and surrounding area is expected
