Position Overview:
Citadel Security USA is hiring for an overnight position covering a retail and commercial property in the Denver area. This is a night shift role where most of the work happens when things are quieter, but that is when attention tends to matter the most.
You will be moving around the property regularly, checking different areas and making sure everything stays in order. There is also some interaction with tenants or late night visitors, so being approachable while staying professional is part of the job.
No two nights feel exactly the same some are routine, others require a bit more awareness but the expectation stays consistent: stay present, notice what is going on, and handle situations as they come up.
 

Key Responsibilities​​​​​​​:

• Walk the property, including storefronts and surrounding areas, to make sure everything looks as it should
• Keep an eye out for unusual activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized access
• Assist tenants, customers, or staff when needed in a respectful and straightforward way
• Respond to issues as they come up and follow site guidelines when taking action
• Stay visible throughout the night to help discourage theft or damage
• Write down daily activity and any incidents clearly so there is a record of events
• Stay in touch with supervisors or site contacts if something needs to be reported

Required Qualifications​​​​​​​:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Active Guard Card
• Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
• Able to stay alert during overnight hours
• Dependable when it comes to showing up and being on time

Preferred Qualifications​​​​​​​:

• Previous security experience (around 2 years or more)
• Time spent working in retail or other public-facing environments
• Familiarity with patrol work and basic report writing
