Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Overnight Security Officer for a full-time assignment in Grand Junction. This position involves maintaining a secure environment during overnight hours while supporting property operations, monitoring activity, and assisting with site-related responsibilities as needed.
The ideal candidate is reliable, observant, and comfortable working independently throughout extended overnight shifts.

Primary Duties

• Provide a consistent overnight security presence throughout the assigned property
• Conduct routine patrols and monitor for suspicious activity, hazards, or safety concerns
• Assist with movement coordination or transport-related assignments when required
• Monitor entrances, exits, and site activity to help maintain a controlled environment
• Communicate updates and incidents with supervisors, dispatch, or site personnel
• Complete accurate reports, daily logs, and incident documentation
• Safely operate company vehicles when assigned to mobile or transport duties
• Follow all post instructions, company procedures, and site regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving history
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts
• Comfortable driving for extended periods if operational needs require it
• Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills

Preferred Experience

• Previous work in security, patrol, transport, or related fields
• Customer service or public interaction experience
• Ability to stay composed and professional during changing situations

Training & Company Support
