Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Position Overview:
Citadel Security USA is looking to bring on an armed officer for overnight patrol work in the Grand Junction area. This position involves moving between different properties during the shift, checking on locations, and making sure everything is secure.
The work is pretty straightforward, but it does require someone who can stay on track without much supervision. Overnight hours can be quiet, which makes consistency and awareness even more important. You will be expected to handle your route, complete checks, and keep track of anything that stands out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive between assigned properties and complete patrol checks throughout the night
• Walk through locations when needed to confirm buildings and access points are secure
• Lock or unlock designated areas based on site instructions
• Watch for unusual activity and take action according to site guidelines
• Maintain a noticeable presence while on patrol
• Write down patrol activity, incidents, and observations in a clear, simple format

Required Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to carry a personal firearm in line with legal requirements and company policy
• Acceptable driving history based on a recent MVR review
• Prior armed security experience or relevant training
• Availability for overnight hours, including some weekend coverage

Preferred Qualities:

• Being comfortable working alone for most of the shift
• Paying attention to small details without being reminded
• Communicating clearly when reporting or updating information
• Showing up on time and staying consistent with responsibilities

Work Environment:

• The role covers multiple sites during each shift
• Expect a mix of driving and walking throughout the night
• Schedule may include occasional weekend hours depending on coverage needs
