Citadel Security USA is hiring Unarmed Special Event Security Officers to support events throughout the Denver metro area. This role requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and the ability to maintain a safe and orderly environment during high-traffic events.

Officers must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and enforcing event policies while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence at special events
• Conduct foot patrols of event grounds and assigned areas
• Perform bag checks and access control at entry points
• Enforce event rules, policies, and procedures professionally
• Monitor crowds and identify potential safety concerns
• Respond to incidents and escalate issues according to protocol
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests, staff, and vendors
• Complete basic documentation as required

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain professional in fast-paced, crowded environments
• Ability to follow post orders, event policies, and instructions
• Reliable transportation to event locations
• Must meet all state and local requirements to work as an Unarmed Security Officer in Colorado

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior special event or security experience
• Experience with crowd control, bag checks, or access control
• Active Colorado Guard Card (or ability to obtain)
