Shift Structure: Floating Swing Shift | 5 Days per Week | 10-Hour Shifts

 

Position Summary
Citadel Security USA is recruiting a Patrol Captain to lead field patrol operations throughout the Denver district. This leadership role is responsible for supporting patrol teams, maintaining service standards, overseeing operational activity, and assisting with client coordination across multiple assignments.
This position blends field supervision with operational administration and requires someone who can manage personnel, address developing situations, and maintain accountability across active patrol operations.

 

Key Responsibility

Field Operations Oversight

  • Supervise patrol personnel and shift leadership during assigned hours
  • Monitor patrol completion, officer activity, and operational performance
  • Respond to escalated calls, emergencies, or field-related incidents
  • Assist with shift deployment adjustments and emergency coverage needs
  • Ensure all patrol functions align with site procedures and company expectations

Client & Site Coordination

  • Maintain communication with client representatives and property contacts
  • Conduct site visits and operational walkthroughs as needed
  • Support new account transitions and patrol implementation efforts
  • Address service-related concerns and communicate operational updates internally
  • Help maintain professional client relationships through consistent follow-up

Team Leadership & Development

  • Provide coaching, direction, and field guidance to patrol personnel
  • Conduct briefings covering operational updates, procedures, and expectations
  • Support onboarding and field training for newly assigned officers
  • Address performance concerns and document operational issues appropriately
  • Promote accountability, professionalism, and operational consistency

Reporting & Compliance

  • Review patrol reports, incident documentation, and daily operational logs
  • Ensure officers follow licensing requirements, safety standards, and post instructions
  • Utilize systems such as TrackTik for reporting, scheduling, and patrol management
  • Identify operational concerns and assist with corrective action when necessary
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations

Additional Operational Support

  • Provide patrol coverage when staffing shortages occur
  • Assist district leadership with operational planning and field coordination
  • Support emergency response efforts during major incidents or critical events
  • Complete additional administrative or operational duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications

  • Active Guard Card required
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
  • Personal firearms required in accordance with company policy and state law
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in security, military, law enforcement, or related operations
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work flexible swing shifts based on operational needs

 

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience managing patrol operations or multi-site security teams
  • Familiarity with TrackTik or comparable workforce management software
  • Background handling client communication and field-based leadership
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or related field
  • Professional certifications or advanced industry credentials are beneficial

  • Effective report-writing and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and operational software platforms
  • Strong understanding of patrol procedures and field operations

 

Physical & Operational Demands

  • Frequent travel between patrol locations and client properties
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, and driving
  • Regular use of radios, mobile devices, reporting systems, and computers
  • Ability to respond quickly to operational emergencies when required
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of equipment up to 25 pounds
