Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable and adaptable Part-Time Armed Security Officer to provide coverage at a government-related facility in Eagle, Colorado. This position is designed to support staffing needs during employee absences, vacation coverage, open shifts, and other operational requirements.

The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, and comfortable working in a structured public-sector environment where security, customer service, and attention to detail are equally important. This role requires flexibility and the ability to transition smoothly into different assignments while maintaining consistent security standards.

Position Details

• Location: Eagle, CO 81631
• Employment Type: Part-Time
• Officer Type: Armed Security Officer
• Pay: Up to $25.50 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday | Coverage for open shifts, employee absences, and vacation relief assignments

Key Responsibilities

Access Control & Facility Security

• Monitor entry points and controlled access areas throughout the facility
• Verify identification, credentials, and visitor authorization when required
• Help maintain compliance with facility security procedures and protocols
• Observe public spaces and restricted areas for unauthorized activity
• Support a secure and orderly environment for staff, visitors, and contractors

Security Operations

• Perform routine security inspections and observations throughout assigned areas
• Identify safety concerns, suspicious behavior, or policy violations
• Respond to incidents and security-related situations according to site procedures
• Maintain awareness of daily operations and changing security conditions
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate

Reporting & Documentation

• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports accurately and on time
• Document security concerns, unusual events, and operational issues
• Communicate significant incidents to supervisors and designated contacts
• Maintain detailed and professional written records

Professional Public Interaction

• Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and vendors
• Communicate clearly and professionally during all interactions
• Represent Citadel Security USA with professionalism and integrity
• Balance customer service with enforcement of site policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Must meet all Colorado requirements for armed security personnel
• Personal firearm required and must be carried out in accordance with applicable laws and company policy
• Ability to pass all required background screenings
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility
• Ability to accept short notice assignments when operationally necessary
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous armed security experience
• Military, corrections, law enforcement, or public safety background
• Experience working in government buildings, municipal facilities, or controlled-access environments
• Knowledge of visitor management and access control procedures
• Experience preparing incident reports and security documentation
