Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is hiring an Armed Security Officer to support daily operations at a courthouse facility in Eagle, Colorado. This weekday assignment centers on maintaining a controlled and secure environment while ensuring safe access for staff, officials, and visitors.

This role is well suited for individuals who are comfortable working within a structured setting, can follow established procedures closely, and maintain a composed, professional presence during public interaction.

Daily Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible armed presence inside and around the facility
• Monitor entrances and control access to restricted areas
• Verify credentials and ensure only authorized individuals enter secured spaces
• Observe activity throughout the building and surrounding areas
• Respond appropriately to security concerns, disturbances, or emergencies
• Assist visitors with directions or general questions when needed
• Complete required daily logs and incident reports accurately
• Follow all post orders, courthouse procedures, and site-specific protocols

Requirements

• Eligible to work as an Armed Security Officer in Colorado
• Personal firearm compliant with company and legal standards
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Colorado State regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent weekday schedule

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Previous armed security experience
• Experience working in government buildings or courthouse environments

• Site-specific training provided prior to assignment
• Clear post orders and expectations
• Consistent supervision and operational support
• Professional work environment with defined procedures
