Job Title: Unarmed Event Security Officer
Location: Denver, CO, 80110
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Shift: Swing Shift (event-based hours)

Position Summary:
Citadel Security USA is bringing on event officers to help cover a range of assignments across the Denver area. Some events are small and controlled, while others draw larger crowds, so being able to adjust to different settings is important.
You will be active throughout each shift moving around the venue, keeping an eye on the crowd, and stepping in when needed to keep things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible presence to help keep the environment safe
• Walk event areas and stay aware of crowd behavior and activity
• Assist at entry points, including bag checks or basic screening when required
• Address minor issues or rule violations in a calm, professional way
• Watch for potential concerns and act before they escalate
• Respond to incidents and notify supervisors as needed
• Support event staff and assist guests when questions come up
• Keep brief notes on any incidents or unusual situations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with the public
• Ability to stay calm in busy or high-energy environments
• Willingness to follow event guidelines and site instructions
• Reliable transportation to travel to different event locations
• Must meet Colorado requirements for unarmed security work

Preferred Experience:

• Previous event security or similar experience
• Familiarity with crowd control, access points, or screening procedures
• Colorado Guard Card or ability to obtain one

Additional details:

• Schedule depends on event bookings and may vary week to week
• Expect to stand and walk for most of each shift
• Consistent performance can lead to more event opportunities
