Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to support a critical infrastructure site in the Denver area. Openings include both full-time and flexible part-time roles. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and controlled environment through patrols, observation, and professional interaction with staff and visitors.
This position is well-suited for individuals who are attentive, communicate clearly, and can handle a variety of situations while remaining professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot patrols of interior and exterior areas
• Maintain a visible presence to discourage unauthorized activity
• Monitor surroundings and identify safety or security concerns
• Respond to incidents using appropriate communication and de-escalation techniques
• Interact with employees, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner
• Prepare clear and accurate daily reports and incident documentation
• Follow all site procedures, post orders, and company policies
• Support overall site safety and protect people, property, and operations

Required Qualifications

• Active Guard Card (required at time of hire)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay alert and make sound decisions
• Professional demeanor and reliable attendance
• Ability to pass background screening and meet site requirements

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Previous unarmed security or related experience
• Experience in customer service or public-facing roles
• Familiarity with report writing and incident documentation
• Background in de-escalation or conflict resolution

Work Environment

• Critical infrastructure setting with both indoor and outdoor duties
• Regular walking and standing during patrols
• Interaction with staff and visitors throughout the shift
• Schedule may vary depending on operational needs
