Location: Grand Junction, CO

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Citadel Security USA is seeking professional and dependable Unarmed Special Events Security Officers to support concerts, festivals, sporting events, and other large-scale gatherings in Grand Junction and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for individuals who are customer-service oriented, able to work in dynamic environments, and available for flexible scheduling.

Officers may be required to travel out of town for certain events.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a visible and professional security presence at special events
• Perform bag checks and screening in accordance with event policies
• Conduct ID verification and support alcohol compliance efforts
• Assist with crowd control and manage foot traffic safely
• Deliver excellent customer service to guests, staff, and vendors
• Monitor for safety concerns and report issues to event leadership
• Follow post orders, venue rules, and company procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to remain professional in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness and ability to travel out of town as needed
• Reliable transportation
• Prior security or event experience preferred but not required
• Must be willing to undergo and successfully pass a background check and drug screening
