Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for a hospitality property in Avon. This position is centered around maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for guests, staff, and vendors during daytime operations.
The ideal candidate is dependable, approachable, and capable of remaining attentive in an active hospitality environment while delivering professional customer service throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine patrols throughout guest areas, parking facilities, hallways, and exterior sections of the property
• Monitor surveillance cameras, alarms, and surrounding activity for safety concerns or unusual behavior
• Assist with maintaining orderly operations by responding to disturbances, emergencies, or guest-related concerns
• Provide directions, assistance, and general support to guests, visitors, and staff members
• Help manage access control by verifying vendors, deliveries, and authorized personnel when required
• Maintain awareness of property conditions and promptly report hazards or maintenance concerns
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activity in clear and accurate reports
• Support site procedures and company standards while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
• Keep track of assigned keys, badges, or access-related equipment when applicable
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, property management, and emergency responders as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional during high-traffic or unexpected situations
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift

Preferred Background

• Experience in hospitality, hotel, resort, or customer-facing security environments
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, incident documentation, or access control procedures
• Previous experience handling guest concerns or conflict resolution professionally
