Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring an Overnight Security Officer for a site in the Denver area. This role is a mix of patrol work and interacting with people on-site, so you will be moving around most of the shift while also helping tenants and visitors when needed.
It is a steady overnight position where staying alert and being approachable both matter. Some nights are quiet, others require more attention, it really depends on what is going on at the property.

What you will be doing

• Walk the property regularly to keep an eye on things and make sure everything looks in order
• Watch for anything unusual, like safety concerns or unauthorized access
• Help tenants, guests, or vendors if they need directions or assistance
• Stay visible during your shift as your presence alone helps prevent problems
• Handle incidents or service requests as they come up
• Write clear notes about what happens during your shift, including anything out of the ordinary
• Keep in touch with supervisors or site contacts if something needs to be reported

Required Qualification

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED is helpful, but not required
• Comfortable standing and walking for most of the shift
• Able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Can write simple, accurate reports without missing key details
• Shows up on time and stays reliable with scheduling

Preferred Qualification

• Around a year of security experience or something similar
• Background in customer service or working with the public
• Familiar with patrol routines or basic report writing

Work environment

• A mix of indoor areas with some outdoor patrols depending on the site
• Overnight hours, so staying alert is important
• Regular interaction with tenants and visitors throughout the shift
