Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is bringing on a Full-Time Armed Patrol Officer for overnight coverage across several Denver-area properties. The role combines time on the road with on-site checks, helping ensure locations remain secure after hours.
This position works well for someone who can stay self-directed, remain attentive during late shifts, and keep communication consistent with supervisors while handling responsibilities across different sites.

Position Responsibilities

• Drive between assigned properties to complete routine patrol checks
• Perform foot patrols to inspect buildings, shared spaces, and surrounding areas
• Check doors, gates, and entry points to confirm they are secure
• Respond to alarms, calls for service, and unexpected incidents
• Stay alert for unusual activity, safety concerns, or unauthorized access
• Complete clear and accurate reports for daily activity and incidents
• Communicate updates with supervisors and property contacts as needed
• Follow all company guidelines along with site-specific instructions

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Current Denver Guard Card or ability to obtain one
• Must meet requirements to perform armed security work in Colorado
• Ability to work overnight hours consistently

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in patrol driving roles
• 3+ years of armed security background
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as SilverTrac, Belfry, or TrackTik
• Experience with vehicle monitoring systems like Samsara
