Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Unarmed Security Officer for a daytime assignment in Boulder. This position centers on maintaining order on-site, supporting daily operations, and helping create a safe, well-managed environment. The role is suited for someone who stays attentive, follows procedures, and interacts professionally with others while working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a consistent and visible presence at assigned areas
- Assist employees, visitors, and vendors with entry, exit, and general movement on site
- Perform regular patrols to monitor conditions and identify potential concerns
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety issues, or policy violations
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatch, and on-site contacts
- Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident documentation
- Operate company vehicles when assigned, following all safety standards
- Adhere to post orders and company guidelines throughout each shift
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to work scheduled 12-hour daytime shifts
- Strong attention to surroundings and detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Dependable attendance and professional behavior
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in security or a related field
- Familiarity with report writing or documentation practices
- Comfortable working independently with limited supervision
Work Environment
- Mix of indoor and outdoor responsibilities depending on assignment
