Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is seeking a full-time SOC Operator to support overnight monitoring operations at its Fort Collins command center. This role centers on live video surveillance, coordinating responses to security events, and keeping detailed records for all monitored locations.

This position is ideal for someone who can stay attentive during long shifts, manage multiple systems at the same time, and make timely decisions while maintaining a calm and professional approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned camera systems for suspicious activity, incidents, and safety concerns
• Initiate appropriate responses, including dispatching patrol officers or contacting law enforcement when necessary
• Conduct virtual patrols and scheduled camera tours per client requirements
• Document incidents, escalations, and dispatch activity in detailed reports
• Identify and report compliance issues such as absent or non-compliant guards
• Review guard reports and activity logs for accuracy and professionalism
• Retrieve and provide video footage to clients or law enforcement as required
• Handle inbound and outbound calls from clients, staff, and stakeholders
• Maintain consistent communication with Operations Supervisors and Management
• Assist SOC leadership and team members as needed
• Monitor system functionality and report outages or technical issues to IT
• Report any software or system-related issues promptly

Position Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable vehicle for transportation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple systems simultaneously
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software platforms
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in security monitoring, dispatch, or surveillance operations
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and reporting platforms
• Experience in a Security Operations Center or similar environment
