Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is currently hiring a Full-Time Overnight Security Officer for an assignment in Grand Junction. This role focuses on maintaining overnight site coverage, monitoring property activity, and supporting operational needs during extended evening hours.
This opportunity is best suited for someone who works well independently, stays attentive during long shifts, and can respond professionally to changing situations while following established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible overnight presence throughout assigned areas of the property
• Conduct scheduled patrols to identify safety concerns, suspicious activity, or operational issues
• Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and surrounding grounds during the shift
• Assist with transport coordination or site-related operational tasks when requested
• Communicate incidents, concerns, or updates to supervisors and designated contacts
• Prepare accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation before the end of each shift
• Operate company vehicles safely when assigned to patrol or transport-related responsibilities
• Follow site-specific procedures, emergency protocols, and company expectations always
• Support a safe and orderly environment for staff, vendors, and authorized visitors
• Respond appropriately to alarms, disturbances, or unexpected situations as they arise

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
• Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts on a regular schedule
• Ability to remain alert and focused during extended periods of independent work
• Strong verbal communication and basic report-writing skills
• Dependable attendance and professional conduct required

Preferred Background

• Previous experience in security, mobile patrol, transportation support, or related work
• Customer service or public interaction experience in professional settings
• Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in active or unexpected situations
