Position Summary
Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Armed Security Officer to provide overnight coverage at a critical infrastructure site in Dillon. This position includes a mix of access control, vehicle patrol, and foot patrol duties, all focused on maintaining a secure and orderly environment during late-night hours. The officer will be responsible for monitoring site activity, addressing any issues that arise, and following established procedures while working independently for most of the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage entry points by checking credentials and approving or denying access
• Conduct routine vehicle patrols across assigned areas of the property
• Perform foot patrols to inspect buildings, perimeter zones, and restricted sections
• Identify and report suspicious behavior, safety issues, or unauthorized access
• Maintain a consistent and visible armed presence on-site
• Respond to alarms, incidents, or service requests in line with site protocols
• Prepare clear and accurate reports covering daily activity and any incidents
• Stay in communication with supervisors, dispatch, and on-site personnel
• Follow all post orders, safety rules, and company procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• Must meet all Colorado requirements for armed security personnel
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must possess a personal firearm and carry in accordance with state laws and company policy
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to work overnight 12-hour shifts consistently
• Reliable attendance and professional conduct

Preferred Qualifications

• Current armed certifications or relevant qualifications
• Prior experience in armed security, patrol, or access control roles
• Experience working in high-security or infrastructure-based environments

Work Environment

• Combination of gate access duties, vehicle patrol, and foot patrol
• Indoor and outdoor work depending on assignment
• Extended periods of standing, walking, and driving
• Overnight schedule requiring sustained focus and alertness
